All loops are classified by region, original tempo, and key (if applicable). For most of the studio loops, a full version of the loop is provided along with the individual elements. Instruments included are: djembes, congas, bongos, tam tam, dondo (talking drum) timba, surdo, rebolo, cuica, pandeiro, berimb o, timbales, tongue drum, sanza, cavaquinho, repico, tamborim, bells, shakers, and many other more obscure instruments. The African section includes sounds from the Congo, C te D'Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria alongside afrobeat, afrofunk, juju, afrolatin fusion, and afrobossa styles. There's also a miscellaneous loops and hits section that contains classic break beats, funky dread drums, vintage breakbeat, funky jazz breaks, garage beats, dark drum'n'bass, vintage drum'n'bass, and more. The convenient one-window interface is based on Native Instrument's Intakt sampler for tremendous sound-shaping abilities without disrupting the creative flow. It includes a first-class multimode filter, an envelope follower, 2 LFOs, effects, and more. The loops can be synced to tempo via the Beat Machine or the Time Machine. The Beat Machine divides loops into their individual hits so they can be played at a wide range of tempos without pitch change. You can also assign individual settings for pitch, playback, pitch envelope, amp envelope, and effects to each hit. A MIDI file of each loop can be easily exported so that groove, accent, and feel can be manipulated in any host sequencer. The Time Machine time-stretches or compresses loops in real time. You can sync, stretch, and pitch the loops as well as filter, effect, and modulate them.
